Services for Puppies:
"There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face." - Ben Williams
Puppies under 5 months of age receive a $5 rebate; however, it is advised to wait until your puppy has received its second set of shots before its first appointment.
It is very important to start a grooming schedule for puppies, especially for long hair breeds that will require frequent grooming throughout their lives. When you introduce your new puppy to grooming early and gradually, it will become a normal part of life for them and won’t be a stressful experience when they grow older.
I take the time to introduce your puppy to all the equipment that will be used. This way, it will not be afraid of the different noises, smells or sights when it's time for real grooming. The extra time taken with young dogs is very important and is something I take very seriously.
In most cases, a bath, nail trim, a little around the eyes and bum is all they need, but that little can make a huge difference long-term.
I urge you to bring your puppy in before any mats have a chance to form as waiting too long could lead to a lifetime of stressful grooming if the dog is heavily matted. If they didn't like grooming the first time, they will not be happy the next. Mats hurt, it's a new environment, the equipment can be scary, and all this at once is a recipe for a bad first experience. Do your dog a favor and start the grooming process while it is still young.
